Emma has been part of the Amazia Veterinary Service team for a year and a half and has worked in veterinary medicine for more than three years. She has always known she wanted to work in the veterinary field and truly loves everything about her job, from caring for animals and helping clients to working alongside her coworkers.
Although Emma originally thought she would pursue large-animal medicine, working with both large and small animals has shown her that she usually prefers small-animal care. She especially enjoys the “gross stuff” and unusual cases that keep every day interesting!
At home, Emma has a large farm filled with chickens, horses, goats, cats, dogs, a tortoise, and fish. Outside of work, she loves crafting, including stained glass, painting, photography, and metalworking. She also competes in speed events with her mostly blind horse and enjoys paddle boarding and fishing at Merwin Lake.
A fun fact about Emma is that she genuinely loves learning, school was always something she looked forward to!
