Dr. Michael Glynn, Small Animal Veterinarian

Dr. Michael Glynn is a graduate of Oregon State University and has been part of the Amazia Veterinary Service team for eight years. His professional interests include small animal dentistry, internal medicine, and geriatric care, an area he finds especially rewarding. His passion for biology, love of animals, and desire to help people inspired him to pursue veterinary medicine.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Glynn is an early bird who takes his coffee black and enjoys seeking out nature with his amateur photography gear in hand. He grew up on the Olympic Peninsula, which remains one of his favorite places to explore. At home, he shares life with two cats, two dogs, six chickens, and what he describes as “a window shade of houseplants.” Cats may rank slightly above dogs in his book, but he also appreciates horses, ruminants, spiders, and pollinators, and if he had to choose one favorite animal, it would be the octopus.

Dr. Glynn enjoys berries, backyard barbecues with family and friends, Ted Lasso, and music ranging from Led Zeppelin to Outkast. He hopes to learn mountaineering someday and believes some of the best advice is simply, “Look it up!” If he weren’t a veterinarian, you might find him living in a van down by the river.
