Dani has been part of the Amazia Veterinary Service team for two years and has worked in veterinary medicine for approximately three years. She has loved the veterinary world since childhood and cannot imagine doing anything else. Her favorite part of the job is comforting nervous pets and helping them feel safe and at their best. Dani especially enjoys working with dogs, and the occasional goat!
At home, Dani has four cats, one dog, and one rabbit. Whiskey, a lynx point domestic shorthair, was her first cat. Meadow, a dilute tortoiseshell, was rescued from a wheel well at Club Green Meadows. Klaus, a dilute buff-and-orange cat, loves playing with the dog, while Aria, a blue-and-white Maine Coon, has the biggest personality in the house. Khione, her Husky, loves cats almost as much as Dani does! Clover, her litter-box-trained house rabbit, joined the family after a domestic rabbit had babies beneath their patio.
Outside of work, Dani enjoys reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing, hunting, and camping during the summer and fall. If she could add any animal to her family, it would be a horse. She rode throughout much of her childhood and hopes to own horses again someday.
